What & Why

A team is a group of friends who work together to do something, like play a game, build a tower, or clean up.Why is it important? Because when we work together, we can share ideas, help each other, and have more fun than playing alone! Teamwork makes everything better.

Example 1 — Building a Block Tower

Imagine you and your friends want to build the tallest tower ever!Plan Together: First, you all decide to use the big blocks on the bottom to make it strong.Take Turns: One friend puts a block on, then the next friend adds one. Everyone gets a turn to help it grow.Help Each Other: If a block is wobbly, a friend can help hold it steady.Cheer!: When the tower is super tall, everyone cheers, “We did it!”You all worked as a team to build something amazing!

Example 2 — Clean-Up Crew

After playing, it's time to clean up the gym. This is a job for a team!Everyone Gets a Job: One person can gather all the beanbags. Another person can stack the hoops. Someone else can put the balls in the basket.Work at the Same Time: While you are picking up balls, your friends are busy with their jobs, too.Finish Faster: Because everyone helps, the gym gets clean super fast!The Clean-Up Crew team gets the job done quickly so there's more time for fun.
