We are going to learn a magic trick! We will learn how to change a word to mean 'more than one'. This is called making a noun plural. It helps us talk and write about groups of things.

The Add -s Rule ✅
Most nouns + s = Plural
For most words, you just add an 's' to the end to make it plural. This is the most common rule!
The Add -es Rule ✨
Noun ending in s, x, z, ch, sh + es = Plural
If a word ends with a hissing or buzzing sound (like s, x, z, ch, sh), add 'es' to make it plural. This makes it easier to say!
