Key Rules & Conventions
The Main Rule: Add '-ed'
Base Verb + ed = Past Tense Verb
For most action words, just add '-ed' to the end. This shows it happened in the past.
The Magic 'e' Rule ✨
Verb ending in 'e' + d = Past Tense Verb
If a verb already ends in 'e', just add a 'd'. You don't need two 'e's.
