Key Rules & Conventions
The Singular 'S' Rule
Singular Pronoun (he, she, it) + Verb with an 's'
When your pronoun is talking about just one person or thing, the verb that follows it usually needs an 's' on the end. Think 'S' for Singular!
The Plural Power Rule
Plural Pronoun (we, they) + Verb without an 's'
When your pronoun is talking about more than one person or thing, the verb does NOT get an 's'. Plural pronouns are a team and don't need the extra letter.
The Adverb Add-On Rule
Adding an adverb does not change the pronoun-verb agreement.
Even when you add a comparing word like 'faster' or 'more loudly', the main pronoun and verb must still follow the Singular 'S' or Plural Power rules. The ad...
