Always include a Works Cited page at the end of your research paper to show you're a fair and honest writer.
Basic Order for Books (MLA 7th)
Author's Last Name, First Name. *Title of Book*. City of Publication: Publisher, Year. Print.
This is the general pattern for citing a book. For Grade 6, focus on Author, Title, Publisher, and Year. The 'Print.' tells us it's a physical book.
