Grammar Rules & Patterns
The Comparative Formula
Sustantivo 1 + es + más + adjetivo + que + Sustantivo 2.
Use this pattern to compare two things. 'Más' goes before the describing word (adjetivo), and 'que' goes after it to introduce the second thing you are comparing.
Adjective Agreement Rule
Adjetivos must match the sustantivo in gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular/plural).
'Casa' is a feminine word, so we use adjectives that end in '-a', like 'bonita' or 'roja'. If we talk about 'casas' (plural), the adjective must also be plural, like 'bonitas' or 'rojas'.
