Grammar Rules & Patterns

Rule #1: Adjectives ending in a vowel (-a, -e, -o) Adjetivo + s If an adjective ends in a vowel (like 'rojo' or 'verde'), you just add an 's' to the end to make it plural. Rule #2: Adjectives ending in a consonant Adjetivo + es If an adjective ends in a consonant (a letter that isn't a, e, i, o, u), you add 'es' to the end to make it plural. The Matching Rule Sustantivo Plural = Adjetivo Plural The most important rule! If your noun is plural, your adjective MUST also be plural. They have to be a team.
