Grammar Rules & Patterns
Expressing Likes: 'Me gusta' vs. 'Nos gusta'
Use 'Me gusta' for 'I like'. Use 'Nos gusta' for 'We like'. Follow with an infinitive verb (like 'cantar', 'jugar', 'comer').
When you are talking only about yourself, use 'Me gusta'. When you are talking about yourself and at least one other person, use 'Nos gusta'.
Conjugating 'vivir' for 'Nosotros'
To say 'We live', take the verb 'vivir', remove the '-ir', and add '-imos'. vivir -> vivimos
This special ending '-imos' is a clue that the action is being done by 'we' (nosotros). This works for many verbs!
