How to Find the Stem
Infinitivo - ir = Raíz
To start conjugating an -IR verb, you must first find its stem. You do this by simply removing the last two letters, '-ir', from the infinitive.
Present Tense -IR Endings
Raíz + Terminación = Verbo Conjugado
After you find the stem, add the correct ending to match the pronoun. For -IR verbs, the endings are: yo (-o), tú (-es), él/ella/usted (-e), nosotros/nosotras (-imos).
