The word 'lo' always goes right BEFORE the conjugated verb (the action word). It never goes at the end.
The 'Lo' Replacement Rule
'lo' replaces 'el' + [noun]
Use 'lo' to replace a single masculine noun. If you see a noun with 'el' in front of it (like 'el perro'), you can replace it with 'lo'.
