Formula: Querer + Infinitivo
[Subject] + [conjugated form of 'querer'] + [infinitive verb].
To say what someone wants to do, you conjugate the verb 'querer' to match the subject, and then follow it with the infinitive form of the main action verb (like 'ser'). The second verb is never conjugated.
Using 'Ser' for Professions
Always use the verb 'ser' to state someone's profession, not 'estar'.
Professions are considered a core part of someone's identity, which is what 'ser' is used for. 'Estar' is for temporary states or locations. For example, 'Ella es profesora' (She is a teacher) is correct.
