Key Rules & Conventions

The 'Has' Rule (for one) He / She / It / One Thing + has When the subject is just one person or thing, we use 'has'. The 'Have' Rule (for more than one) We / They / Many Things + have When the subject is more than one person or thing, we use 'have'. The Special 'Have' Rule I / You + have 'I' and 'you' are special! They always use 'have', even though they mean one person.
