Asking for Something Quiero + un/una + [item] To say what you want, start with 'Quiero' (I want). Then add the item you want to buy. Asking the Price ¿Cuánto cuesta? After you choose an item, always ask this question to find out the price. Being Polite Hola, Gracias, Adiós Always start with 'Hola' (Hello). Always end with 'Gracias' (Thank you) and 'Adiós' (Goodbye).
