Conjugating the -AR verb 'Jugar' Yo juego, Tú juegas, Él/Ella juega To say who is playing, you must change the ending of the verb 'jugar'. Use 'juego' when talking about yourself (I play), 'juegas' when talking to a friend (you play), and 'juega' when talking about someone else (he/she plays). Adjective Agreement: Matching Gender Masculine Noun (el, un) + Adjective ending in -o. Feminine Noun (la, una) + Adjective ending in -a. In Spanish, describing words (adjectives) must match the gender of the noun they are describing. If the noun is masculine, like 'el juego', the adjective should end in -o (divertido). If the noun is feminine, like 'la pelota', the adjective should end in -a (roja).
